My Daily Meditations Now Provide Me a Feeling of Daily Awesomeness
I have become an early riser. I wasn’t always a person who loved the morning. In fact, I used to hate to get out of bed in the morning. Who would want to get up when you are faced with an overwhelming list of life tasks that drain your energy even before you crawl out of the sack? And on top of the normal "to do's" are the list of "should's" that get added. You know, things like "you should exercise at least 30 min each morning" and "you should read your scriptures each morning", or "you should pray or meditate each morning." Things like that. Mornings used to be a long laundry list of daily tasks that some how seemed to create a barrier to enjoying the morning.
Eventually I threw out the list of "should's" and decided to just focus on what it was I wanted in my life. This allowed me to choose nothing or something. Eventually I decided to choose to get up 30 min early each morning to meditate. Why? Because for me, when I meditated I got answers and so this process benefited me. I was able to "listen" for answers to my problems and it helped me sort out my problems.
Eventually I started to notice that in addition to getting solutions and answers to my problems, I also would notice moments when I would feel a spiritual "high." Those spiritual highs started to become more frequent. For example, I started to expand during my meditations (OOBE) and started to always feel tingly and good during these daily meditation moments. In fact, the feelings of inner peace, harmony, balance, and love were feelings that now started to be part of each and every meditation.
Soon I noticed some of the best feelings I had throughout the day were the feelings during these meditations. It was during my meditations when I started to feel the most complete and WHOLE. I also came to the conclusion that if I hadn’t meditated, I may not have even felt positive, whole, or balanced the entire day. I termed the feeling during my meditations as feeling awesome. I liked that feeling of awesomeness and missing out on this feeling was something I wasn't going to miss.
It was this realization that helped me to start jumping out of bed each morning to greet the day. I now looked forward to the morning and was ready to have those feelings of love, balance, and harmony fill my entire being each and every day. It was as if I was being wrapped and blanked with a feeling of love that went through my entire being each morning.
I now looked forward to creating the window of opportunity to have a spiritual experience. It is during this window when I prepare myself to connect and receive spiritual energy, spiritual messages, spiritual beings and then in return, I have an awesome and overwhelming feeling of love, balance, and harmony. Yes, even though it has become a daily routine, I still find it rather awesome and pretty amazing.
