In this meditation, I began the meditation in a standing position rather than sitting. Why? This is the stance my Qigong instructor recommended as a more intense method to improve the creation and flow of Qi and energy. I am finding this standing process more challenging than my usual sitting meditations. Standing requires my mind to be much more focused and present to help divert my attention away from that normal thought flow about how uncomfortable I am. Needless to say, this change of posture has helped me have new experiences I probably would not have had if I had stuck with my usual practice.
As I was standing and going through my normal grounding and connection process with the earth, there was a point where I "feel" a "pop". It is something I feel each time now when I connect and ground with the earth. I feel it when I go really deep into the earth. It is almost like inserting an acupuncture needle in a channel point and you "know" you are hitting the mark. It is a "feeling" that says "pop". There is also an automatic visual that comes to my mind when this happens...it is a needle which has automatically been threaded. So when I am "there", I feel it and I see it and have an awareness "I am there".
I then visualize a column of light going from the top of my head to the heavens. With this visual of the column of light ascending to the heavens, I continue with this until I "feel" that sleek whiteness, which is how I know I have connected with the astral. I then have the thought and awareness come into my mind "I am there", meaning the astral plane.
My thoughts then turn to the connection between the earth and the heavens and I am now that connecting point. I then see a pole of energy going from the earth, through my center, and to the heavens.
Next, I visualized the invigoration of each of my chakras to strengthen the connection between the earth and heaven. I started to visualize the different colors of each chakra, but then felt a strong "NO!" in my mind. It was then I could feel as if the reigns of control in my meditation were being taken over by another force. I then saw the color of liquid gold coming from the heavens through my connecting point in my head and the color of liquid gold coming up from the earth to my 1st chakra. I was being filled with liquid gold from both my top and my bottom. It was not just my chakras being filled, it was the total me. I became almost a gold cylinder of energy being connected between the earth and the heavens.
I was in this position and seeing this visual for about 12 minutes. I could tell I was being fine tuned to vibrational energy and frequency between these two mediums.
The energy connection then ended. The meditation was now over.
After the meditation I thought "I wonder why it was a liquid gold?" The response that came to my mind was "gold is a conductor and can be used to conduct and transfer energy, including healing energy.
Going to an earth energy site on the summer solstice (when the yang or heaven energy is at its highest) and then serving as a finely-tuned transference tool between the earth and the heavens can direct the healing energy from the heavens to where it is needed within the earth.
